Our History
Wileman Bros. & Elliott, Inc. was established in 1925 by Charlie and Ralph Wileman and Frank Elliott, Sr. The business started by exporting stone fruits and table grapes packed in wooden cartons, which were exported to markets in Singapore, China, and Australia. Under the leadership of Frank Elliott, Jr., the business expanded during the 1960’s to include citrus as a way to offset the summer production months with a winter crop. Frank “Tokkie” Elliott III, continued the expansion by focusing on the citrus production, adding more acreage, a cardboard carton manufacturing company, and a juice processing company in order to vertically integrate the entire operation. Now, in the fourth generation of ownership, Frank “Tommy” Elliott IV, is still growing the company and refining its practices to adapt to the many modern changes in the marketplace, growing practices, sustainability, and food safety.
